Diversified US Senior Healthcare Portfolio

In 2019, we acquired a diversified senior healthcare portfolio in partnership with Madison Marquette. This portfolio originally consists of six income-yielding senior healthcare properties strategically located in California, Washington, and Michigan, with a total value exceeding US$185 million, since acquisition, one of the California assets were sold.

With a focus on meeting the diverse needs of seniors, the portfolio comprises 509 units catering to various levels of care, spread across more than 340,000 square feet. Among these, 248 beds are dedicated to independent living, 96 beds to assisted living, and 188 beds to memory care. These units are expertly operated by best-in-class senior living operators, each focused to their own region. The portfolio is strategically diversified across multiple geographies, care types, and operators.

The senior population in the US is projected to grow further over the upcoming years, indicating shortages in supply.
