In 2021, we expanded our US real estate portfolio by acquiring multifamily residential assets in prime locations in Las Vegas, Nevada, and Baltimore, Maryland. The Las Vegas Portfolio comprises two value-add properties located in East Las Vegas, totaling 819 suburban garden-style units in the well sought after sub-belt region where trends for suburban living have been on the rise The value-add aspect is in the form of renovations to drive up rents and improve operating efficiencies which will result in value creation towards anticipated exit. While the Baltimore asset is a stabilized, high-rise property, consisting of 347 units in an area. The Baltimore asset is close to strong medical centers and educational facilities which support population growth as well as increased demand for renting properties.
