In a strategic move to expand our US student housing footprint, we acquired our second portfolio, a c. $260 million student housing portfolio with five assets located across Texas, Michigan, and Missouri. Following the same selection strategy as our first portfolio, our second portfolio’s assets, offering over 2,000 beds in total, are well-located within walking distance from top-rated public universities with strong enrollment growth, and are relatively new with attractive amenities for students. The acquisition marks our second acquisition completed in partnership with our affiliate, SQ Asset Management, a leading Atlanta-based student housing specialist with an exceptional track record.

The acquired assets consist of privately owned off-campus student accommodations which are affiliated with the Texas A&M University, Michigan State University, and Missouri State University. The properties are fully amenitized to cater to the growing needs of students and enjoy high occupancy.

The acquisition is in line with our student housing sector investment strategy and selection criteria of building a diversified portfolio that generates stable income and long-term capital appreciation for our investors.
